The Genshin Impact Version 5.0 update, titled "Flowers Resplendent on the Sun-Scorched Sojourn," has arrived, bringing exciting new content and essential game fixes. Below are the details of the update, including information on compensation and how to update your game client.

Compensation Details

• Maintenance Compensation: 300 Primogems (60 Primogems for every hour the servers are down)

• Issue Fix Compensation: 300 Primogems (Please refer to the relevant in-game mail for more details)

Scope of Compensation

• Maintenance Compensation: Available to all Travelers who have reached Adventure Rank 5 or above by August 28, 2024, 06:00 (UTC+8). The compensation must be claimed before the end of Version 5.0.

• Issue Fix Compensation: Available to all Travelers who have reached Adventure Rank 5 or above by August 28, 2024, 06:00 (UTC+8). The compensation must be claimed before August 31, 2024, 06:00 (UTC+8).

Compensation will be distributed via in-game mail within 5 hours after the update maintenance is completed. The mail will expire after 30 days, so be sure to claim the attached Primogems in time.

How to Update Game Client

• PC: Close the game, open the Genshin Impact Launcher, and click Update.

The new region of Natlan is now available, offering Travelers an exciting new adventure in a land where warriors and Saurians coexist. Explore the following areas:

• Tequemecan Valley

• Coatepec Mountain

• Toyac Springs

• Basin of Unnumbered Flames

To access Natlan, complete Archon Quest Prologue: Act III "Song of the Dragon and Freedom." This will unlock a Teleport Waypoint to the right of Tequemecan Valley. If you have already completed this quest, the Waypoint will be unlocked automatically after the update, and you will receive the associated Primogem reward.
