Key Items and Their Secrets - Black Myth Wukong

"Black Myth: Wukong" to enhance your gameplay and uncover hidden content. This guide is a work in progress and will be updated with more details as they become available.


Skanda of Form


  • Description: "Man shrinks at odor, but smiles at beauty, which is only natural. Once hidden inside the Buddha's head, this treasure has a secret yet to be revealed."

  • Location: Found in the Forest of Wolves - Front Hills in Black Wind Mountain. Located in the river opposite the Bullguard fight.

  • Current Use: Unknown


Pungent Flesh Chunk

  • Description: "Flesh, torn from the foe, emits a pungent reek. It may lure some yaoguais to draw near."

  • Location: Defeat King of Flowing Sand and Second Rat Prince in Sandgate Village - Valley of Despair (mandatory boss) in Yellow Wind Ridge.

  • Use: Use beneath the arena where you fight the King of Flowing Sand and Second Rat Prince on the cliff edge to summon the First Prince of Flowing Sands (optional boss) in Yellow Wind Ridge.


Arhat Gold Piece

  • Description: "Peeling gold from an Arhat statue's face? How outrageous! There surely must be a reason behind such an act."

  • Location: Found in Sandgate Village - Valley of Despair after defeating the First Prince of Flowing Sands (optional boss).

  • Use: Possession of the piece will cause the boar man to attack you where you first met him at Fright Cliff - Rockrest Flat in Yellow Wind Ridge.


Loong Scales

  • Description: "These ancient loong scales occasionally flicker with lightning. They seem to be calling out to their former owner."

  • Location: Found in Sandgate Village - Valley of Despair in a secret area after defeating the First Prince of Flowing Sands (optional boss) and having the boss destroy the mural wall in the arena to reveal the secret area in Yellow Wind Ridge.

  • Use: Allows access through the waterfall in Forest of Wolves - Outside the Forest in Black Wind Mountain, the sand waterfall in Fright Cliff - Rockrest Flat in Yellow Wind Ridge, and activates the Cyan Loong statue on Bitter Lake - Turtle Island in The New West.


Keeness of Tiger

  • Description: "The mysterious gadget found on Tiger Vanguard's body has a strange shape and might be used to unlock a certain mechanism."

  • Location: Defeat Tiger Vanguard in the Crouching Tiger Temple - Temple Entrance (mandatory boss) in Yellow Wind Ridge.

  • Use: Use on the tallies in conjunction with the Sterness of Stone throughout Yellow Wind Ridge to access the path under the Crouching Tiger Temple and open doors at Sandgate Village - Valley of Despair and Yellow Sand Formation - Windrest Gate.


Sterness of Stone

  • Description: "The mysterious gadget found on Stone Vanguard's body has a strange shape and might be used to unlock a certain mechanism."

  • Location: Defeat Stone Vanguard in Fright Cliff - Rockrest Flat (mandatory boss) in Yellow Wind Ridge.

  • Use: Use on the tallies in conjunction with the Keenness of Tiger throughout Chapter 2 - Yellow Wind Ridge to access the path under the Crouching Tiger Temple and open doors at Sandgate Village - Valley of Despair and Yellow Sand Formation - Windrest Gate.


Stone Essence

  • Description: "A consolidated cluster of azure gravel obtained from the shattered remains of the Mother of Stones."

  • Location: Defeat the Mother of Stones in a cave just before the Fright Cliff - Rockrest Flat shrine (optional boss) in Yellow Wind Ridge.

  • Use: Use on the talking Man-in-Stone along the path straight ahead, in between the raised cliffs, in Fright Cliff - Squall Hideout in Yellow Wind Ridge.


Buddha's Eyeball (x6)

  • Description: "An eyeball extracted from the chanting Buddha heads of Fright Cliff. It may be inlaid elsewhere."

  • Location: Found on six Buddha heads scattered throughout the Yellow Wind Ridge, specifically in Fright Cliff.

  • Use: Use on the rock in the Stone Vanguard boss arena at Fright Cliff - Rock Clash Platform to summon Shigandang (secret boss) in Yellow Wind Ridge.


Skanda of Feeling

  • Description: "Emotion is the child of uncertainty, born from the touch of experience. Once hidden inside the Buddha's head, this treasure has a secret yet to be revealed."

  • Location: Defeat Shigandang in Fright Cliff - Rock Clash Platform (requires all 6 Buddhas Eyeball).

  • Current Use: Unknown


Sobering Stone

  • Description: "A foul-scented stone, perfect for sobering up that drunken pig."

  • Location: In a vase in the village at Yellow Wind Formation - Windrest Bridge, to the left as you enter the village.

  • Use: Can be given to the boar man character straight ahead from the Fright Cliff - Rockrest Flat Shrine.


Old Rattle-Drum

  • Description: "Though this rattle drum is somewhat worn and tattered, when shaken, it still makes a lively clatter."

  • Location: Defeat the Tiger's Acolyte on the bridge along the Yellow Wind Formation - Windrest Hamlet path.

  • Use: Used to summon the spirit of a young boy in three places of the Yellow Wind Ridge, leading to the Mad Tiger Boss Fight.


The Spirit of Captain Lotus-Vision

  • Description: "A unique cluster of will that cannot be cultivated. Why not gather it and explore its potential elsewhere."

  • Location: Drop down behind the Pagoda Realm - Upper Pagoda shrine and defeat Captain Lotus-Vision (secret boss) in The New West.

  • Use: Unlocks the purple seals throughout the Pagoda Realm.


The Spirit of Captain Wise-Voice

  • Description: "A unique cluster of will that cannot be cultivated. Why not gather it and explore its potential elsewhere."

  • Location: Defeat Captain Wise-Voice at the Pagoda Realm - Mani Wheel Shrine (mandatory boss) in The New West.

  • Use: Unknown
