Plot of Veilguard - Dragon Age

In Veilguard, set in the Dragon Age universe, players assume the role of Rook, the protagonist. The story takes place around 9:52 Dragon, 9-10 years after the events of Dragon Age: Inquisition and its Trespasser expansion. Solas, the powerful elven mage, has begun his ritual to tear down the Veil, causing demons to slip into the world once again. The Inquisition, with the help of a surprising new ally, races to stop him before his ritual is completed, threatening to unleash unimaginable horrors on Thedas.

Data Transfer and World-States

In Veilguard, only three critical choices from Dragon Age: Inquisition can be imported into the game:

1. Who your Inquisitor romanced.

2. Whether or not you disbanded the Inquisition.

3. Whether you vowed to stop or save Solas.

   
   

These decisions are directly integrated into the character creation process, and players can view the context of these choices through tarot card art, providing a helpful reminder of past decisions. However, past choices from Dragon Age: Origins and Dragon Age II cannot be imported, and the Dragon Age Keep will not be used for these transitions.
